A Little About us:
My name is Marianne Grindstaff and I am a stay at home wife and operator of our cat sanctuary and our little gift shop The Curious Cat. I come from a farming background and so have a great love of animals and anything farm related.
My husband ,Troy , is a Navy veteran (Desert Storm) and a full time paramedic as well as the assistant fire chief in town. He has been doing fire and rescue since he was 17. He is also chauffeur to his wonderful wife!
OUR OTHER LOVE is CATS!
We run a 501c3 non profit lifetime care cat sanctuary (Cat Ranch Rescue, Inc) located in Graham County NC. The Curious Cat Thrift N Gift Shop helps pay our bills and donates 10% of sales to our sanctuary. We also accept donated items and all proceeds from those sales goes 100% to the cats care. Things in our shop
I have a love of anything old, antique, vintage or even just a plain good bargain. I also love cat or pet related items so you will find a lot of those in our shop. I also love books! And I love to upcycle and repurpose items, do crafts and paint. Troy likes military, fire/rescue items and has a knack for finding unusual items. So our shop is a great mixture of things we love. We hope you enjoy shopping with us!
Where to shop
We are currently only on Facebook and FB Marketplace.We hope to have an Etsy store soon and we do local pick ups from our shop. We do not as yet have the shop open for visitors but may in the future. We are still working on everything. Thank You!
